Blogmas Day #2: DIY (Paleo friendly) Frothy Hot Chocolate + A selfie shoot for your entertainment (12/2/20)

Hiya hiya, my beauts! I hope you have had a day that’s as wonderful as you are ; D And Welcome to 2020 Blogmas Day#2! xD I am actually already loving Blogmas so much, and I have recently been brainstorming some pretty great post ides for then next 23 days xD I hope that you guys are enjoying it too!

Anyways, today I have decided to do a DIY (Paleo friendly) Frothy Hot Chocolate! Ahhhh, guys. This is literally so delicious, I had to share it! And once again, it’s paleo friendly so that means I can have it without trouble xD So, hello to all of my paleo friends out there because this one is mainly for you ;D

My Mom actually made us all a cup of it this morning with breakfast and ohhhhhh my gosh guys. It is AMAZING. It gets so frothy on top and it’s just beautiful. This is actually so much healthier than normal hot chocolate from the store and in my opinion…. it actually tastes soooo much better than packaged hot chocolate. This recipe is suuuuuuper easy to make, and a perfect drink to warm your tummy on chilly winter days 😋 Alright guys, here we go! Definitely let me know if you try this out, and lemme know what you thought! xD

(Oh, and I have also included a somewhat random but gorgeous selfie shoot at the end for your entertainment because why not. You’re welcome.)

DIY (Paleo friendly) Frothy Hot Chocolate

Estimated time: 5-10 mins

Serves: 3 people

Ingredients:

13.5 ounce can of coconut milk + enough water to equal 3 cups of total liquid

3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup

2 tablespoons of gelatin

2 tablespoons of cacao powder

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

(steps below)

Step 1: Heat coconut milk and water on stove. Once hot, pour into blender.

Step 2: Add in remaining ingredients and blend until it’s well incorporated

Step 3: Pour into a mug and enjoy! Yep, that’s it! Top it off with some marshmallows to add some more froth to the top!

We absolutely love these amazing vanilla marshmallows! (pictured below) They are so much cleaner than your usual marshmallow, and sooooo delicious! You should definitely check them out, and I have left another picture down below of the ingredients list that you can take a peek at xD

Welp, there ya have it folks! A super easy and delicious DIY (Paleo friendly) Frothy Hot Chocolate!

But, wait. It’s not quite over yet. I am going to say goodbye for now right here, but please enjoy this wonderful selfie shoot I just happened to take today 😜

Blogmas Day #1: The First Snow (12/1/20)

Hello beautiful people! Ahhh, and hello December.

Welcome to Day #1 of Blogmas 2020 my loves! This is actually my very first year of Blogmas (YAY xD) and I am so excited for it! If you aren’t familiar with what I mean by Blogmas, it’s actually a huge thing that many bloggers do when the Holidays come around! Blogmas starts on December 1st, and goes all the way up to Christmas day! Yep, I will be posting every single day for the next 24 days. (wow. that’s alot.)

I am very much looking forward to this, because I feel like it really builds up the anticipation for Christmas, and it will definitely be good practice for me with being a more consistent blogger! I have quite a few post ideas related (and non related) to the holidays, that I am so excited to put together!

So, here we are with Day #1 of Blogmas! GUYS. You don’t even know how excited I am for Christmas. Like, ITS ONLY 24 DAYS AWAY!! Christmas is absolutely, fo sho, 101% my favorite holiday EVER. Actually, imma go put a countdown on my blog right now…xD

Ahhh, I am in love with this time of year in general. Even daydreaming about it makes me feel warm and cozy inside. Warm drinks, sledding down big hills, cuddling up in blankets, putting up decorations and lights, playing Christmas music, buying and crafting gifts, and watching the snow fall out the window.

Actually, yesterday into today was our first snow fall of the season, (what perfect timing, am I right?) that I caught some beautiful photos of this morning. Last night I fell asleep watching out my window as the snow covered the earth like a white blanket, the trees swayed, and the lights on the roof twinkled in the dark. It gave me such a happy and peaceful feeling as I lay wrapped in my cozy blanket burrito. In that moment, everything just felt okay.

And I glowed inside as I realized it all proclaimed one thing:

Christmas time is here.
