Bullet Journal Spread: November 2020

Hewwo lovely people!

*sigh* hehe…. well I’m not sure if you noticed, but I have been gone for the past two weeks. My life recently has been very strange, and I sorta took an accidental but purposeful blogging hiatus!

I’m sorry for missing a couple of weeks, especially of the Igniting Inspiration series which I know you guys seem to love so much! I have the next post for that series ready to be put up this week. ; ) I am also working on a big long bumble-jumble post talking about everything happening in life lately, that should be up very soon!

So, hello again! I promise I will give a warning before hand next time. *cough – we both know that’s unlikely – cough*

SO. ANYWAYS.

THE PAST IS BEHIND US,

AND I AM BACK.

*takes a moment to bop to playlist*

Today, I’m popping in to showcase my November 2020 Bullet Journal spread! I am actually very happy with how this months spread turned out, and this is my first time sharing my spreads, so i’m very excited! Every month I typically have the same theme. I like to keep it boho/hippie/retro with crystals, doodles, plants, and just a cute and cozy layout! Whatever I feel makes me happy that month, I use in my spread!

Welp, not much else to say, so please enjoy, and I will pop back in very soon loves! ; )

A Day In My Life During Quarantine: Collaboration ft. Allie, Go with the waves blog!

Hello my chicken nuggets! Im baaaaaack! 😁 Happy Sunday! Haha, today is going to be a very exciting post! This is the first ever collaboration here on Hailey Creates! *throws confetti* (Which speaking of, may not be the name of this blog here soon so you’ll hear more about that later on!) This post is in collaboration with my dear best gurl friend, my newest pen pal, and fellow blogger, Allie! We both created the same post so be sure to go check out her version of a day in the life, and her blog as well! You can find it here: https://gowiththewaves.wixsite.com/gowiththewaves So go send her some love, because her blog is A-MAH-ZING! Allie is a really close friend of mine, and I love her alot which she’s probably reading this so HALOOO POTATO SISTER!! 😆💕 This post was so much fun to create with her, and we have alot of ideas for more collabs in the future! BTW, it was all from yesterday so it was my Saturday routine! I also wanted to make this post because I feel like when I’m older i’d wanna look back on not only basically what I did on a daily basis but how I got through quarantine haha. Without further ado, I’m gonna start! (Also i’m starting to think i used my mirror for a little too many of the pics hehe…)

Morning: 7:45

So of course in the morning you wake up, so yeah that’s my terrible mirror photo of what I look like when I wake up Lol

As soon as I woke up, I went to open my blinds to let some nice light in. I normally sit down and read after I do this but this morning I started straight on to getting breakfast.

I started on getting some tea ready, and I actually decided to try a packet that Allie kindly sent me in one of her penpal letters! It was soooo good! *dreamy eyes* We have a whole cabinet full of different tea packets though haha!

Why not take a silly picture? Haha

For breakfast I ate a homemade pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, with some chia pudding.

Morning: 8:30

After I was finished with that, I sat at my desk to start working on some pen pal letters and blog stuff. I didn’t take any pictures because my pen pals will be seeing this and I want my letters to be surprises! But be expecting an entire post on some of my pen pal letters soon!

Morning: 10:30

Afterwards, I work on making my bed and picking some things up before I bring out my yoga mat, and do my workout exercises and some stretches! This really helps me feel alot more energized and ready for the day, and quarantine has given me a little more time to focus on taking care of myself. (Does anybody else feel awkward sharing pictures of yourself exercising? Haha)

When I’m done with that, I feel really nasty with mah greasy hair but for some reason decide to show it off in a picture. *raises eyebrows in confusion* I start more of my self care time by hopping in the shower, washing my face, moisturizing, and best of all shavinggg. Like DUDE, there is almost nothing better than having smooth legs after a nice shave so that was great. Lol Oh, also changing into the outfit of the day! (Aka, normal human clothes)

#WetHair

I went back to working on some pen pal things and blog stuff with my headphones, and folded some laundry. Ya know, my daily life is not that interesting 😂

Afternoon: 12:00

I then had some frozen fruit and a sandwhich for lunch 😋

I took some extra ‘me’ time and sat down to play ukulele for awhile, I am actually working on getting some covers uploaded soon so I am excited for those! Comment down below if you play any instruments!

Next, I took some time outside to get some air while riding my Rip Surf! It was unfortunately too cold for shorts so I had to put on some jeans and a hoodie hehe

I later came back inside and watched a little bit of YouTube on my phone, which isn’t the most productive thing to do unfortunately. I also Facetimed a 2 of my close friends (Allie and her brother Aiden actually!) for a few minutes before dinner was ready too. It’s always so much fun talking with them, and I love how goofy we are together!

Evening: 6:00

We ate dinner which I completely forgot to take a picture but it’s fine hehe. Anyways, we finished eating dinner so I actually went back to doing random things like pen pal letters (For the third time), playing ukulele, and trying to write a silly song about quarantine believe it or not. 😂 I actually started running out of interesting things to do and take pictures of (If everything else was even interesting at all) so I started to scravage for things to do.

It was getting kinda late at this point so I started my bedtime routine, which includes brushing of teeth (Which speaking of, I forgot to mention I did brush my teeth that morning, I didn’t skip that step) putting on comfortable clothes which I’m talking about sweatpants and a t-shirt, and I also normally read before bed too. The stars were really pretty last night too, I didn’t get any pictures of stars from last night but i’ll include one from a couple days ago that I planned on posting anyways…

Okey dokey! Once i’m done reading some sort of book\magazine I lay down, and drift to sleep. That’s basically the end of my daily quarantine routine!

Thank you for checking out my latest post, I really hope you enjoyed seeing a little bit of what I do during quarantine and almost on a daily basis! Remember, this was in collaboration with my close friend Allie so before you go, click on this link to check out her blogs site and her day in the life post: https://gowiththewaves.wixsite.com/gowiththewaves This was so much fun to create with her, and I hope to get together with her to do more things like this in the future!

I also want to let you guys know to stay happy during this time, don’t worry! I know things like this can be scary but God’s got this, he’s gonna keep you safe and everything will turn out okay in the end! Everything happens for a purpose and it’s all for good in the end, even if it seems terrible in the moment. Hopefully everything will be able to go back to normal sooner than later, because I don’t know about you but I am an extrovert and I miss seein’ mah people! Haha! Anyways, have a nice day my chicken nuggets, and Stay Positive!

My New Year’s Resolutions:

Haloooo again! This is sort of a delayed post, considering New years resolutions usually start at the beginning of the year but it’s only about a month late so I think we’re still good! *thumbs up and nods* If you don’t know what New years resolutions are, they are bigger and more specific goals you set for yourself and commit yourself to accomplishing throughout the year. They aren’t just random goals that you’d like to accomplish, but they are goals that you are putting out there and saying “I will commit myself to this, work hard at it, and I will accomplish it.” It’s things that you want to do to help yourself become a better person, or better at some things in certain areas. So, I will be sharing a short list of things that I am going to work my hardest at accomplishing this year!

  1. Self Care. Mental and Physical:

This is something I feel like lots of people struggle with, including me, and it’s something I am going to work hard on. When I say mental health, i’m talking about fear, stress, anxiety, low self confidence, and esteem. I definitely have trouble with all of these daily. I’m so tired of looking at myself so negatively. I have found that taking time for myself and only myself is very good for this. It can be things like stepping away from life for just a short amount of time every day to sit down with a cup of tea, essential oils diffuser going, curling up under some soft blankets, and relaxing with a book……aaaaahhh. Even thinking about it relaxes you a little, doesn’t it?

Now when I say physical health, I mean eating healthy, exercise, staying hydrated, and taking care of your own beautiful body. Taking time away from life to take time for yourself to exercise, give yourself a nice mani-pedi, making a healthy and yummy snack can all count as physical health, as well as mental health! That’s because it’s taking time for you and ONLY you, to make sure that your body is getting the treatment it deserves. We should respect our bodies, appreciate them, and take care of them. If you struggle with self confidence, self esteem, and speaking positively about yourself, then taking care of your body can actually help sooooo much with that! Trust me, taking care of your body makes you feel really good. So not only am I trying to do this more, but I encourage you guys to try and do the same!

2. God time. Prayer and Faith:

I want to spend more time this year with Jesus, God, the Lord my Father, by reading my bible daily, praying more often, and trusting him throughout life. I worry alot, like ALOT alot, and I find it hard to find peace through it all. But you can find peace by having faith, and trust in God. I always find myself stressing and worrying over the future, things that haven’t even happened yet, and stressing over the past, which most of the time are things that already happened a long time ago. It’s really hard now to worry, and hard to let go of the past. But you’ve gotta stand up and say “No. I’m moving forward.” I want to have more faith and trust in God that he will lead me, guide me, help me, and get me where I need to go in life.

Thank you so much for checking out this post! Today’s post was a little bit shorter than usual, but I feel like I got everything out that I needed too. : ) I enjoyed typing this up, and creating it so you guys could see what I have decided to work harder at this year! Comment some of your 2020 resolutions, I’d love to hear about them! Ciao,

Starting Fresh:

Hello dear blogging friends! *sighs* It’s great to be back. (Considering I haven’t posted in a couple of months.) You may be wondering about the title of this post, why it’s so out of the blue, and I’m not sure if anybody really noticed, but also to why I disappeared at the end of last year. So I’m going to explain all of that, and what “Starting Fresh” for me means today.

Well, I started this blog last Summer so it has been here a little while. But before I started this blog I didn’t really have a ‘Why’ to the reason I was doing this. I just started it blank minded with no idea what i’d do. I never stopped until now to ask myself, “What is the purpose of this blog?” or “What do I want or see the end outcome as?”, and I really regret not doing that before hand. I sorta started it, well, just because. The lack of thinking ahead lead to lack of creativity, lack of post ideas, lack of traffic around my blog, and basically no purpose to what I was doing. I’d gained a few followers here and there, (Which I am extremely thankful for, Thank you guys!; D) a couple comments every now and then, and some likes, but something just felt missing. Like something needed to be there, but wasn’t. I now realize that I don’t want people to just see what I put on here, but I want them to feel what I put on here. I want it to reach out and tug at peoples hearts, I want people to be able to relate to what i’m saying and be able to know they aren’t alone in this rough game we call life. I enjoy sharing, and want to share my life’s experiences. The good, and the not so good. I want to help young people like me to find their way, and lead them to Jesus through all of it. I want to encourage them with kind words, share my struggles in daily life, and show how we are able to brush off the dirt and dust of this world and still get back up and walk forward with God. I want to share my passion for serving Jesus, and encourage others to do it too. I want to let people know that there is a God, and he is a God of love, mercy, and grace. That he loves, and always will love each and every person, and he is with them every step of the way.

I have a huge passion for creativity, and being artistic, and I also have huge passion for spreading word and love of Jesus. So why not put those two together? I don’t want to do this just so people know who am, I want the world to know who God is. I want this blog to be able to make an impact in this world we are facing every day. I don’t want people to remember me, but I want them to remember that it’s okay. That they are forever loved, and they have their own specific purpose on this earth.

So with 2019 passed and 2020 here, I’m going to work on those types of improvements on this blog. I believe it is possible to use your own sense of creativity, spread the word of God, and have fun at the same time! So of course I am always going to make room for the silly and fun daily life posts, as well as the more serious deep posts. I haven’t been a blogger for long, but I know I absolutely love it! I am definitely going to work on a better posting schedule, since technically I never really had one. I think that’ll work a whole lot better than just posting whenever I felt like I should. (Which most of the time was about once or twice every couple of months.) You may have noticed a few changes to my blog design too, those I am still working on. I’m trying to get nice, clean and aesthetic blog layout that I really like and that I think suits my personality. : )

Thank you so much for checking out my latest post! I can’t wait to write my next one, let me know if there are any posts you’d like to see in the future. I have quite a few ideas already that I can’t wait to create! Until next time my little chicken nuggets! ; )
