Hiya hiya, my beauts! I hope you have had a day that’s as wonderful as you are ; D And Welcome to 2020 Blogmas Day#2! xD I am actually already loving Blogmas so much, and I have recently been brainstorming some pretty great post ides for then next 23 days xD I hope that you guys are enjoying it too!

Anyways, today I have decided to do a DIY (Paleo friendly) Frothy Hot Chocolate! Ahhhh, guys. This is literally so delicious, I had to share it! And once again, it’s paleo friendly so that means I can have it without trouble xD So, hello to all of my paleo friends out there because this one is mainly for you ;D

My Mom actually made us all a cup of it this morning with breakfast and ohhhhhh my gosh guys. It is AMAZING. It gets so frothy on top and it’s just beautiful. This is actually so much healthier than normal hot chocolate from the store and in my opinion…. it actually tastes soooo much better than packaged hot chocolate. This recipe is suuuuuuper easy to make, and a perfect drink to warm your tummy on chilly winter days 😋 Alright guys, here we go! Definitely let me know if you try this out, and lemme know what you thought! xD

(Oh, and I have also included a somewhat random but gorgeous selfie shoot at the end for your entertainment because why not. You’re welcome.)

DIY (Paleo friendly) Frothy Hot Chocolate

Estimated time: 5-10 mins

Serves: 3 people

Ingredients:

13.5 ounce can of coconut milk + enough water to equal 3 cups of total liquid

3 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup

2 tablespoons of gelatin

2 tablespoons of cacao powder

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

(steps below)

Step 1: Heat coconut milk and water on stove. Once hot, pour into blender.

Step 2: Add in remaining ingredients and blend until it’s well incorporated

Step 3: Pour into a mug and enjoy! Yep, that’s it! Top it off with some marshmallows to add some more froth to the top!

We absolutely love these amazing vanilla marshmallows! (pictured below) They are so much cleaner than your usual marshmallow, and sooooo delicious! You should definitely check them out, and I have left another picture down below of the ingredients list that you can take a peek at xD

Igniting Inspiration Week #14

…like the new logo? ; D

Hello lovely, and good Sunday Morning! (atleast from where I live ; D)

*sighs* It’s really good to be back. I have once again returned from another unexpected blogging hiatus, and I must say that I really missed this. Life has just been very different for me lately, and it was really nice to just take a step away from blogging and take a breathe before I came back to it. I have recently been working on a big bumble-jumble of a post about my life recently, so that should be up soon! I apologize for once again not letting y’all know about my short disappearances before hand, but I am so happy to be back now! xD

With my return, I have brought Week #14 of Igniting Inspiration which I am so excited for! For Week #13 of Igniting Inspiration, I decided to try some new things and change it up a bit. Well, for Week #14 I am once again changing things up. xD (Don’t worry it’s a good change ;D)

As much as I loved doing a short little devo last time, I found it pretty difficult to randomly come up with something to talk about in a devo. I basically had an inspiration burnout (which was bad because ya’know this series is all about inspiration) and decided that I would change things again.

Now, every week I’m usually used to sharing 15-20 different aesthetic quotes, but I have decided that I’m gonna cut it down to 5-10 quotes a week. 1. Because searching for that many quotes on Pinterest actually takes a long time. 2. Using that many quotes a week I am bound to completely run out someday, seriously. And 3. I would like to focus more on certain things instead of just throwing a bunch of quotes out there.

Last time, I also said I wanted to start sharing inspiration and encouragement through my own words and heart. That’s why I tried to start doing a devo every week, but it unfortunately didn’t work out for me. So, this week (and hopefully here on out) we are going to be focusing on just a handful of encouraging quotes, and I would like to give my input on each of them. I want to start sharing what they each mean to me, and why they speak to my heart!

Oh, and yes, we are absolutely still keeping the MEMES, those will never change xD

So, Welcome my dear friends to Week #14 Of Igniting Inspiration, in which I am featuring a handful of encouraging (and pleasingly aesthetic) quotes, and some hilarious MEMES to kick off the new week ahead! I am very excited to see what this week holds, because I have never seen it before. 😊

Alrighty guys, away we go! xD

This one I have found to actually be one of my favorite quotes ever. It’s such a comforting and quite amazing thought that one day, we will find what we have been searching for. Or, we may even find something bigger, and more beautiful than what we ever imagined we could have. That thought brings me so much hope.
This one I actually feel like is so very true! Sometimes it’s nice to find a little reminder like that. How so beautiful you really are, you are just so used to yourself you don’t actually realize your beauty. ❤
Such a great reminder when you’re facing something fierce. Just keep fighting that battle. Just keep pushing through the raging storm. Keep climbing that mountain because there is promise from God that something absolutely beautiful beyond imagination, waits on the other side. It will all be so worth it.
This relates to the quote above quite alot. One day, everything that you are fighting against or that mountain you are climbing, will all be apart of your story. Your testimony. Your testimony has power, and when shared with others, it can change lives. I think it’s actually amazing, telling the story of how your life was changed, and that changes another life. ❤
What an amazing thing. Sometimes we have to be broken down, before we can build up. There is beauty in the ashes. There is beauty in shattered hearts. There is beauty in the broken, because that’s what makes us who we are. It’s what helps us to grow and figure out who we are meant to be, so that we can start building again, and healing, and turning into something beautiful.
This one also relates to the quote above. There cannot be any rainbows without rain. The rain is what makes us grow, and that’s what makes it beautiful. There cannot be beauty without any broken. The flowers wouldn’t be here if they didn’t go through the rain. In the end, there will be beauty and joy and happiness waiting. You just gotta push through.
Ahhh, I love this one so much. Just such an encouragement that you can be who you want to be, without letting other things or people affect that. You really can be the best version of you imaginable, and that thought makes me so happy. I really love thinking about who I am gonna be in the next 5 years or so. I like to imagine how I will have grown and changed, because I know there will always be change ahead. You really can be the best you, you’ve just gotta work towards it.

Haha it feels so different giving a smaller amount of quotes than what I’m used to, but I really enjoyed giving my input on those ones!

Tis’ the time where I must bid my farewells before this officially ends. *sigh* But don’t worry! There is much more coming to Sunshine & Rain so be sure to subscribe to the blog to make sure you don’t miss out! (Subscribing also makes you an official member of the #GummyBearFam 😉)

So before this post ends, thanks a bunch my loves for checking out the latest here on Sunshine & Rain! I hope that you enjoyed Week #14 of Igniting Inspiration, and I can’t wait to chat with you guys!

Now, for the grand finale we have the MEMES! xD

Please enjoy these wonderful MEMES, and as always, I challenge you to go through all of them without laughing! If you accomplish that, then comment down below #NotAGiggle! And if you’re more like me, and can’t hold in a laugh for the life of you (no shame), then comment down below #…lotsagiggles! 😂

Okay, ready. Set. Here we go! xD (bye-bye lovely person 😊 *waves*)

AGHHH. I seriously missed y’all so much, you’re the freakin’ BEST HUMANS EVER! ight, byeeeee *smiles big*

Your Vote Matters: Choose With Your Heart

Today is November 3rd, 2020. Today is Election Day.

I need you to know that your vote matters. Your vote is helping to determine how this country is going to be run for the next 4 years.

This is a very anxious time for everybody. I feel like I’ve been really quiet about this, but I think we all know that life this year has been insane. I mean absolutely insane.

In all the years that I have been here on this earth, 2020 has by far been the most strange, terrifying, stressful, and painful year I have experienced. I am sure that many people have also felt that way.

Nobody has been able to control which way this year goes at all, and it’s been so stressful.

But this is your chance you use your voice for the better.

Your vote, has power. Your vote is completely your choice and yours only. That’s the whole purpose of a vote, to give people a choice.

As true as that is, I just want to tell you, that you should vote with your heart. Many people have already voted by now, but if you haven’t, I strongly encourage you to go do it.

When you do vote, you should vote for what you believe in, not for who you like.

It’s okay not to like somebody. Nobody is perfect. But if that person can really give something good to this country, then vote for that. Please, don’t vote just out of emotions.

Stand up, and use your voice to vote for what this country needs.

I was pretty hesitant about sharing this at first, but I am going to share who we are voting for this year. I mean, I am not old enough to personally go and vote yet, but this would be my choice.

This year, we are voting for President Trump.

There are many different reasons why we are voting for him, and we are voting with our hearts. President Trump has been a pretty phenomenal leader for this country. He clearly loves God, and wants all of the good for this country and it’s people. He stands up against things that we don’t believe in, such as the killing of children in the womb, (Please check out my post on Abortion Here) and many other things.

Trump clearly cares about the country, and I feel that he has done amazingly in working towards keeping our beautiful country the way it should be.

I would say that I’m not telling you who you should vote for, but actually, I am.

If you want to work further towards keeping our country great, then I encourage you to vote for Trump. I’m not just some young girl proclaiming this because my parents and friends are, if I had the ability to vote right now, he would absolutely be my choice.

Once again, it’s okay not to like somebody. But please dear, don’t vote for someone else just because you have a higher opinion of them.

Trump has done many amazing things for this country, and I know he will continue to as well. Just look up Trump Administration Accomplishments, and you’ll see multiple things he has done for the benefit of the US just since his election!

I wanted to keep this short, but overall say the same thing.

Vote with your heart.

Vote for what is right, pure, and good.

Vote for what will keep this country safe, and beautiful.

Vote for what you choose hon’

But please. Be sure you make the right choice.

Bullet Journal Spread: November 2020

Hewwo lovely people!

*sigh* hehe…. well I’m not sure if you noticed, but I have been gone for the past two weeks. My life recently has been very strange, and I sorta took an accidental but purposeful blogging hiatus!

I’m sorry for missing a couple of weeks, especially of the Igniting Inspiration series which I know you guys seem to love so much! I have the next post for that series ready to be put up this week. ; ) I am also working on a big long bumble-jumble post talking about everything happening in life lately, that should be up very soon!

So, hello again! I promise I will give a warning before hand next time. *cough – we both know that’s unlikely – cough*

SO. ANYWAYS.

THE PAST IS BEHIND US,

AND I AM BACK.

*takes a moment to bop to playlist*

Today, I’m popping in to showcase my November 2020 Bullet Journal spread! I am actually very happy with how this months spread turned out, and this is my first time sharing my spreads, so i’m very excited! Every month I typically have the same theme. I like to keep it boho/hippie/retro with crystals, doodles, plants, and just a cute and cozy layout! Whatever I feel makes me happy that month, I use in my spread!

Welp, not much else to say, so please enjoy, and I will pop back in very soon loves! ; )

❤ whenever a heart stops beating, many hearts break.

Stop.

Please just take a look at this.

You may have other things to be doing, but please. Just look.

Did you know that every day, roughly 3,000 babies are killed in the US?

In the whole world, approximately 125,000 babies are killed every day.

And not by accident.

Just this year alone, there have already been over 34,372,000 abortions performed worldwide, and those are just the numbers I’m looking at, at this moment. The numbers I’m watching are skyrocketing higher by the second…… and my heart hurts.

thirty four million, three hundred seventy two thousand.

That’s 34 million lives that have been ended before they have barely began.

34 million babies that will never get to see the birds and planets, and stars high in the sky.

34 million babies that will never get to laugh, or make somebody else laugh.

34 million babies that will never get to be somebody’s best friend.

34 million babies that will never get to feel the sunshine, or the ocean waters on their skin.

34 million babies that will never get to fulfill their purpose from God here on this earth, or share their talents.

34 million people, that nobody will ever get to meet.

34 million babies, who will never have their own beautiful and amazingly unique identity.

34 million.

I am in no way using this post to bash anyone, or to guilt them, or offend them. I just ask that you hear what I have to say, because honestly I have kept this in for too long and I can’t hold it anymore.

I just don’t know if you understand the hurt I feel.

It completely breaks my heart and its putting me in tears as I write this, knowing that at this very second, somewhere out there, a baby’s life is being taken away.

Abortion is a real, and terrible thing. Many people have chosen to take the route of abortion, out of many better ones that they sadly did not take.

A baby, is alive. A baby, is precious. A baby, is a human being.

Please spare about 45 minutes of your time to watch this video.

*I wouldn’t recommend watching this if you are under the age of 13, due to sensitive topics and graphic images. If you are younger, I would strongly suggest watching this with a parent’s permission*

This video, absolutely shattered my heart. I bawled as I sat there in my bed watching every bit of it.

This really shows the ugly and evil of abortion. None of it is good.

But it also shows, that anybody’s mindset can be changed, and lives can be saved.

Now don’t get me wrong, I completely understand and am all for human rights, but the thing is, does the mother really have the right to end a life that’s not hers? The answer is no, no she does not.

No matter what the media and other people out there tell you, it is nowhere near okay to kill a child. They encourage us over and over proclaiming that “it’s a woman’s body, so it’s a woman’s right!” But actually, its not. That child has it’s very own body and an entire life set before it, and I can promise you that no woman has the right or authority to take that away!

Guys, the cold truth is that this world and our society is so, so messed up and twisted.

But I am absolutely sure that no matter how stubborn, anybody’s mind can be changed on the idea of abortion.

I did some research on abortion.

The word abortion comes from the word abort, which means “to bring to a premature end because of a problem or fault.”

To abort something, is to end it because of a problem.

When you abort a baby, you are bringing its life to an end because of certain difficulties.

When did it become okay to end a life because of a difficult situation?

That baby should not be a burden. That child should be so very precious, because a life is being carried inside of a mother. To me that is just a beautiful thing!

Think of your best friend. Your favorite person. The person you love the most in this world!

If their parents would have gone with the route of abortion, then that person wouldn’t be here. You never would have met. And they never would have got to have the life they do.

I don’t know about you, but thinking about that makes me hurt so bad.

I then researched on the word “Terminate.” One definition of terminate, is actually “to assassinate.”

Do you see what I’m getting at here?

The Pro Choice world says that a baby inside the womb is not alive, or a person. But, when they use the word “terminate” when talking about abortion, they are using the term assassination. Assassination, is to kill or murder.

So, answer me this. How can you kill something that’s not alive?

If you are aborting or terminating a baby, you are assassinating it.

It is plain MURDER because A BABY IS ALIVE.

I have complete respect over women’s rights, I really do.

But this is different. That is not a woman’s bodily rights, because that baby is not her body. It is a living human inside of her body, and it is not her right to take the life of another human, no matter what the Pro Choice world says.

A woman’s bodily rights, would be the right over what she chooses to eat, what she chooses to wear, what she chooses to put on her skin, what she chooses to do with her hair, etc. And us women do have those rights. But, we do not have the right to kill a living being just because it is inside of our body.

If women were and truly are meant to have the right and ability to choose between pregnancy or not, wouldn’t the woman be able to choose whether she conceived in the first place? God made us women the way we are so that we could have children! Not so that we can just kill them whenever we want to. Children are a blessing, and a gift! Whenever there is a child inside of a mother, God wants so badly for that child to live.

No matter whether it was through rape, or not, that child is still alive and created by God. God made that child for a purpose, and this world needs what that baby has. That baby will grow up to make their family proud, and that baby will be such an amazing person.

I truly do hurt for the women who went through trafficking, and became mothers who didn’t want to be. But listen, you should not let fear get to you so badly that you take a life that isn’t yours.

I know that I’m only a young teenager, and you may be thinking that I’m way too young or dumb to understand. And, actually I probably won’t ever understand exactly what it feels like to have a living being inside you that you didn’t plan on. But I can tell you that if I did go through something like that, I would definitely be scared. I would be Terrified. I would be confused, and angry, and upset, and many other things I can’t explain. Hopefully I never do have to go through something like that, but I’m going to trust Jesus. And you should too. Trust him when he says that it’ll be okay, and he will pull you through. Trust Jesus, and let those babies live the life they are meant to!

There are plenty of couples out there who would absolutely love to adopt if you cannot take care of the baby! Just please, don’t let your baby die. Don’t stop your baby from being able to live a beautiful life.

Did you know that a baby’s heart starts beating at 3 weeks? If something has a heart beat, it’s surely alive.

Even before that, that baby is still a living being.

It makes me so sad seeing that people are actually being encouraged to kill their child, just because they have a disability or may be different from other kids. Why would you take away your baby’s life, just because it won’t look the same as others lives?

Like Ray Comfort said in the video, if someone punches a pregnant woman in the stomach, and kills the child, they are charged with murder.

How is aborting that baby any different from that? And saying that “aborting is different because it was a choice” is not an excuse. If the baby dies from abortion, it is not considered murder. Yet if the baby is killed any other way, it is murder. That baby is being murdered either way.

I am not trying to shame anyone with this post. I am not spitting hatred at anyone who supports abortion, has chosen to take that route before, or just may be planning on taking that route here soon.

I am doing this out of love. I am standing up for Pro Life with my own voice, for those 34 million babies never got to have a voice.

I am doing this to tell you, that if you support abortion or have chosen abortion before, God forgives you. He will forgive you over, and over, and over. You know why?

Because he loves you. Even after everything, he loves you.

And he loves that child inside of the mothers womb.

He has a plan and a purpose for that child that he holds so dearly to his heart.

He knew every bit of who you were going to be before you were born. He chose and designed the color of your eyes, your fingerprint, the sound of your laugh, your entire personality, and everything else.

He designed every specific detail of your identity and life.

And he designed every specific detail of that child’s identity too.

Please, if you need help I would gladly talk with you. My goal is to change perspectives, and lead right back to Jesus.

I have still so much to say about this, but i’m sure i’ll build up more to put into another post.

So please, if you aren’t already, stand up with me and fight for good. Don’t let those children die. Please choose Pro Life! Be the voice that 34 million people never had.

I just want you to know, that if you are about to make that choice and take the route of abortion, i’m praying for you. I’m praying over your life, and that child’s life inside of you. God has a plan for you, and a plan for your baby.

He loves you, and that baby, beyond measure.

Let it live the beautiful life it was always destined to.

OXYGEN

There I stood. At the edge of a cliff.

At the edge of the very world.

The wind blowing through my hair, through my white silk dress. Almost lifting my bare feet from the ground.

The unknown was below.

I heard sounds of water crashing, but below the cold mist I could see nothing but darkness.

I stood there, afraid. I wanted to leap, I was curious.

I wanted to experience something different in life.

I wanted to feel free and brave, but I just couldn’t. I couldn’t jump.

Then you walked up.

Slowly you walked, and stood right next to me, staring blankly into the deep darkness and unknown things that lurk below.

Then you looked up, straight into my eyes. And you smiled.

I smiled too.

We just stood, and listened to the terrifying sounds of the wind and waves.

Then you said you would jump with me.

You told me you’d jump, and stay right by my side through the dark.

I trusted you.

You made me happy.

Suddenly the curiosity grew, and the fear didn’t exist anymore.

We counted to 3

And we jumped.

We laughed and shouted as we leaped, and flew through the sky.

It felt as if I was floating. The adrenaline rushing through me.

Little did I know what was down there.

We both crashed into the waves, and we fell deep into the waters.

I opened my eyes.

You were right in front of me, nose just inches away from mine. Staring deep into my eyes, smiling that big smile of yours.

I giggled, and managed not to choke.

My heart fluttered, and jumped.

You grabbed me by the hand, and pulled me deeper to swim. Deeper, deeper.

Then, we danced.

Danced in the ocean. Swaying in the current, and twirling me. We shared something that felt electric.

We just kept moving with the waters. Your fingers linked in mine. It just felt right.

Then there was a noise.

You turned your head up to the surface of the waters, and the sunlight glinted off of your bright eyes.

I looked up too, but saw nothing.

Then the noise. It called again.

I couldn’t hear what it was, but you heard it clearly.

Without hesitation, your hands slipped from mine and you started to swim back up.

I reached back out for your hand and grasped it, pulling you back.

You looked at me. No smile. No glare. Just a blank expression.

You shook free from my grasp and continued to swim. I tried to call out to you, but I gagged on the water.

I tried to follow you, but I couldn’t. I tried kicking and pushing but nothing worked. Something was holding me down in the water.

I kicked and screamed to you, but you didn’t hear me.

I kept swimming and pushing upward, but made it nowhere. You had just touched the surface, before I was dragged back down.

Something had a hold on me, and it was dragging me further and further down into the water. I cried and called out to you, over and over, but the saltwater filled my lungs.

I was running out of breath.

Running out of time.

It felt like there was a weight, pushing me deeper and deeper, drowning me.

Darkness overtook me, and I couldn’t fight the storm that raged in the water.

And I couldn’t stop the storm that raged inside me.

I just couldn’t swim anymore.

I let it pull me down deeper into the dark. I let myself sink, and the water took my voice away.

I kept trying to call out, but I couldn’t. My hair and dress floated through the water as I kept going deeper. My last bubbles of breath escaped, as I looked at the glimmer of the sunshine one last time.

Now here I lay at the ocean floor

where nothing happens

And darkness covers everything

I can’t see the light anymore

And I can’t breathe, but I’m still living.

I just exist.

I’m invisible, and nobody sees me through the dark of the sea.

Nobody can hear me, because I’m forever silent through the crashing of waves.

My voice is gone.

My hope.

My happiness.

I’m forever waiting until the day, when someone else just may take the jump

and dive deeper

to rescue me from this storm

where I may taste oxygen again.

Igniting Inspiration Week #13 Unbroken Promises: He Will Prosper You

Good Sunday morning, lovely! (Or just Happy Sunday to others in different time zones ; D)

*sighs* Here we go.

Okay so this week, Igniting Inspiration is going to be a bit different.

(don’t worry, it’s a good different.)

Every week for the past 12 weeks, I have always looked forward to the Saturday morning when I can sit at the kitchen table eating pancakes for breakfast, and gather some beautiful quotes, and hilarious MEMES to bring sunshine to the lives of others! And it makes me so very happy seeing how much you all seem to love it, and look forward to it just as much as I do!

But recently I’ve been thinking, and I want to change up what I am doing with Igniting Inspiration. I absolutely love spreading happiness, and hope, and joy to others through amazing (and wonderfully aesthetic) quotes, but I have felt as if it wasn’t truly coming from my own heart, as if I was always just using somebody else’s words. Of course, I am a huge quote person and I love when you find that one quote that literally hits you right in the heart, but when I am showing light to others, I also want it to be through my very own heart, and words.

So, here we are.

You may or may not have noticed that this past week, I haven’t posted anything. Week #13 of Igniting Inspiration was supposed to be last Sunday, but I decided to take a break and reflect on the past 12 weeks of the series before I just jumped right into the next. (Life also got a little crazy, so a break for some time to myself and not having to worry about posting was really nice.) It got me thinking how I really wanted to change the series just a bit!

So, this week I am going to switch it up, and if I find I love it, then I will probably continue doing it this way for the rest of the time!

For Week #13 of Igniting Inspiration, I am going to be spreading encouragement and love from my very own heart through a short Bible study, on one specific topic. This weeks topic is going to be Unbroken Promises: He Will Prosper You. I plan on doing this topic as a series, and for the next few weeks I will do the topic of the unbroken promises of God!

I really felt like I needed to write about this, because I have personally been struggling with doubt, and have had real anxiety about what my future holds recently. To be completely honest I really get scared about these things, and it hurts not knowing the answer to many questions. But I have found great comfort in seeing the promises that God has for me, that he will never break.

As I am digging into these promises, I want to share them with you all, and bada-bing bada-boom! We have our own little group. 😊

I am no preacher. Just a girl who is discovering Jesus, and who wants you to discover him with her.

Oh, did you think I am just gonna completely forget about the quotes, and the MEMES?! Uh-uh, nooooooo sir! Haha, my love for quotes and MEMES shall never fade, so at the end of the post, I will still continue to include some lovely quotes, and hilarious MEMES! xD

(Srsly, what would Igniting Inspiration even BE without the MEMES amiright??)

Let’s go ahead and dive into this weeks promise! And don’t forget to stay till the end for some encouraging quotes, and the amazing MEMES for some laughs to kick off this new week! xD

Alright imma keep the Devo short and sweet for ya, so here we go! 😉

Unbroken Promises: He will Prosper You

Alright, who here has ever worried crazy about their future? … Mkay, anyone here ever felt afraid that their future won’t go as you have planned now? Anyone just been so scared about what they really want but may never get?

No, it’s okay! Be completely honest. Because I am standing right there with you sista.

I have definitely felt really weird about these things before, and still seem to do it all the time! I mean, I already have so many hopes and dreams and things about what my future may look like, and thinking about that makes us feel really good, doesn’t it? We start thinking “Oh God is definitely going to give me a happy life, and all of these amazing things and I will be happy no matter what!”

But then we start to doubt. We feel afraid of the thought that life isn’t going to have everything we want, and dream of. And that’s because it isn’t.

Life won’t have everything we want, and that really does suck but there is another promise God has given us in place of that. Actually, quite a few promises he has given us in place of that!

Just take a look right here at Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”

In this verse, God is promising us that he has plans for us and he knows exactly what those plans are! He knows every itty bitty detail about what our future will look like, and he is in control of all of it! Our future will most likely look so very different from what we expect it to be, but we just have to remember that God is in all of it, and he does everything for our good. One of my favorite quotes is, “God wrecks your plans when he sees that your plans are about to wreck you.” And it is so true! God’s plans for us are always for our good, because that’s just how much he loves us.

When God tells us no to something we really want, we get pretty upset don’t we? I mean God promises us great things doesn’t he? Well, yes! He absolutely does! But the thing is, God promises us great and amazing things, but he never promises we will get exactly what we want. When God tells us no, or takes something away from us that we loved so much, he is using everything to guide us in the right direction! God’s “no” is not a rejection, its a redirection. So I can guarantee, it’s a very good thing whenever God tells us no. Sometimes, it’s a very good thing not getting what we wanted, because God still promises us something great. Greater than anything we ever dreamed of! We just have to realize, that we can’t have exactly what we want, and have Gods even better and amazing plans at the same time.

In all the years that I have lived, never once did a single thing go exactly as I thought it would.

And every single time, no matter how tough it was to get through the big and small, it all turned out great, and I was okay.

God also says in this verse, that he has plans to prosper, and not to harm us.

Lets look into the word prosper

Prosper, means to succeed, to bloom, flourish, to fly, thrive, grow, to live, to shoot up, to flower, do well, blossom, booming, to spread, to expand, advance, make a mark, to impact, go places, and to make good!

Does anybody else see what I am seeing? God is saying that he promises that we will succeed, we will bloom through it all, we will flourish, and fly, and thrive, and shoot up, and spread, and that we will make a mark in the world!

I really do believe, that God does want us to have a happy life. Even though our lives may seem to completely turn around, I think that no matter what God will give us happiness. I believe that God loves to see us when we are happy!

He promises us that we will flourish, and thrive, and bloom, and fly! I find that very comforting. God is saying that everything he does, is not to harm or to hurt or punish us! His decisions for our future our perfect in every way, and he does it all for our good. He promises us hope, and a beautiful future!

He promises that what he has for us, is perfect. Far better than what we may see as perfect, and we will be so grateful at some points that we actually didn’t get what we wanted but got what God wanted!

God knows so much better than we do. Sometimes I forget that simple fact but it’s so very true.

God has ruled over everything. The heavens and the earth, from the beginning of time. He has reigned over it for all eternity! So I think that in all the time he has watched this earth, compared to the very few years I’ve been here, then I think he must have seen a whooooole lot more than I can ever imagine! And, he has.

So, that concludes to say, that there is nothing that God hasn’t seen, heard, or felt. God watched it all, and he is in complete control no matter how crazy it may feel, I promise you that God has never let go of that steering wheel of life! Every single thing that happens, happens for a reason. It all happens for the greater good.

If you just trust him with all your heart and stand strong in your faith, and just let go of everything that has hurt you and hand it all to God, he will give you everything you are destined for. Everything that happens to you, is all meant to lead you back to him, and to make you stronger, and to prepare you for whats ahead.

There are so, so, so many things ahead, that you and I can’t even imagine right now. God is full of surprises, and I definitely believe God fits some humor in there too haha! We don’t know what tomorrow holds, it’s just something we can never comprehend. But we can trust that God has a perfectly perfect plan beyond our understanding, and it’s all going to work out. There are many things ahead, that even though I have no clue what they could be, I can’t wait to figure that out.

So hon’, Gods got this, okay? No matter how hurt you are, no matter how scared, no matter how doubtful you are, God is going to pull you through the fire. He is going to stand right next to you through it all. He is going to watch you bloom, and you will be happy, and joyous, you will fly, flourish, and thrive. And he loves you. He will never stop.

And that’s a promise.
