Hey girly! What’s up with you today? I am super duper excited for today’s post because this is my first Room Tour on Sunshine & Rain! I can’t wait to show you guys mylovely bedroom haha!
I actually am pretty happy with the style of my bedroom right now, I really love the look and feel of it! To me, my bedroom feels so cozy and cute and it still at the same time feels like home. I’m sorta going for a bohemian, hippie, beach-palm-springs type style for it! What theme is your bedroom? I’d love to hear about it!
Alright, before I burst from excitement, I’m gonna start the tour 😁
Right when you walk into my bedroom, to the left of the door is my mirror and closet! I like writing encouragement and quotes to myself on the mirror, it’s really uplifting at some times ❤️
When you look straight ahead from my door, is my desk and creative-work-artsy-fartsy-area! Aka, my desk and shelves. (Again with the terrible but also amazing naming of things from Hailey.)
Hanging above my desk I have my calendar, some mini shelves with decor, my list of positive affirmations that I like to read over, and my slowly but surely growing wall of polaroids! I keep most of my art supplies inside my desk drawers, and a lot of my pen pal stuff too!
Haha my shelves have almost too many things to name off, but I’m sure you can see everything for yourself! My shelves hold a lot of my favorite things, and a lot of things that have no other specific place they belong inside my room….

Funko POP collection, lego creations gifted to me by my brother, black jewelry box, bible, pink journal, mini mirror, nail polish, llama book ends, summer savings jar, candle, books, glasses, pink box that holds all my scrunchies, art supplies, mini vintage cameras, beautiful art work from Allie, notebooks, tripods, favorite mugs, magazines, DS, and Polaroid film.
My shelves hold my every growing collection of Funko Pops up on top! 😝
Next to my shelves is my lovely window! I love how big my window is and it’s open 99.9% of the time haha! I am working on finding some pretty curtains for my window, instead of the weird blinds that I’m not so fond of haha!
Over to the right side of my bedroom in the top corner is my dresser, and bean bag chair which I love so much!

Also to the right of that, is my bed area! I love the way my bed area looks and I think it’s very me! I love my fairy lights, my throw pillows, my Rip Surf, my macrame wall hanger above my head board, and all of it! 😊

The envelope art was absolutely adorable! ❤ Also I’m actually loving the flower stickers covering the address haha! Might as well make it cute right? xDShe sent me an entire envelope full of rose petals and pressed baby’s breath flowers and it made me smile so much! It was just beautiful ❤In this photo is a vintage postcard from Arizona (which is actually probably from the 50’s or 60’s which I thought was SO COOL! I’ve always dreamed of seeing Arizona, my heart feels so pulled towards that place haha so thank you so very much for that Allie!) Also along with a very AaeEsSssTtEeETTiIIcCcc little photo collage and super cute paint chips! ❤️She also sent me some little-puff-ball-flower-pom-pom-hangy-things (wow hailey what an amazing definition, but i’m sorry thats awful.), an adorable ATC, and a little decorative garland for my room! And this is a picture of the envelope the beautiful flowers came in, the outside of the handwritten letter which was like 6 pages long so that’s the explanation behind the label, (gosh allie you crack me up 😂 ), and the cute little envelope with our questions and answers sheets on the inside!

Hey girly! Happy Sunday morning. ; ) What’s up with you today? What’d you have for breakfast? What’s one thing you have gratitude for this morning? (C’mon guys, i’m just trying to interact haha!) Well, to start off this intro, I am launching a new series called “Igniting Inspiration”! Igniting Inspiration, is going to be a post made every Sunday morning filled with inspirational, positive, and motivational quotes to kick off each new week with a good fresh start. (Note: not all of these images are personally mine, the ones I have personally created will be noted) I really want to start picking up more things on this blog that have to do with inspiration and positivity and I really hope to see this spread love, and touch some hearts. ❤
A little prayer to kick off the series:
Dear God, I pray that you would use this and spread it to the hurting hearts around me. So many people out there need hope, something to show them they have worth and have a purpose to keep going. There are people that are slowly feeling like they’re sinking to the bottom of the what seems like the never ending ocean of their stress, anxiety, and hurt. God I ask that you would comfort them and hold their hearts, and use this to give them a fresh start that they didn’t think they could get. It may be something as small as a not-so-great-day at work, or as big as losing something very close to your heart. God I pray that you would use their heartbreak for the greater good. God I pray that you would help them to see their purpose through their pain. I ask that you would take this in your own hands, take it out of my own, and use it for your great love. Use this to speak to someones heart. It may be just even one person, but God if it’s possible to use this to reach even just that one person then let it be so. Use this to bring light, and joy to their life. Use it to make someone smile, to spread kindness and love and happiness and everything else that person may feel like they’ll never get back. Hiya hiya friend! (literally my new intro for like, everything now) I have no clue what to write for an intro today, hehe there isn’t a whole lot to explain except today I am compiling a whooooooooooole bunch of inspiration photos of what I envision my dream house will look like! These are in no specific order these are just things that really stood out to me that I love so very much! I have never really had one single aesthetic that I love. Which I actually love that I have more than one! I find myself really being drawn to modern bohemian style rooms, mixed with a little vintage and retro stuff, majestic-hippie, and beachy-palm-springs-minimalist- styles! But to be honest, I am no minimalist whatsoever. I love the idea of having a bunch of things on display (like you’d find in most boho houses) so that’s what you’ll see in most of these photos! Oohh, love this one. I reaaaally wanna get some shelves above my bed to display lots of stuff on!I really like this orangey-boho-vintage aesthetic! What I’ve been up to: June 2020
So close to the very beginning of June, me and my best gurlfriend went out on a girls day! It was so freaking fun and I actually made an entire post on it which you can check out right here! 😜
These were a couple of the gifts that I made for Allie’s birthday!! I made us both a matching set of bracelets and this ocean drawing which she seemed to love so much! I also made her a birthday slide show video with a bunch of photos of us (which was more of a personal thing so I can’t show it on here) and her birthday party was so much fun and I am so glad she liked the gifts!

1. What’s your all time favorite memory?
Hmmm, I actually have alot of favorite memories so it’s so hard to choose one haha! But i’m gonna have to say my whole families trip to Disney World! That week was literally such a beautiful experience and aghhhh just Florida was the best!
2. Weirdest food you’ve ever eaten? And did you like it?
The weirdest food i’ve ever eaten? Well it was a meal worm. Yeah… I did not like it.
3. Favorite form of art?
Music, and dance definitely! But I feel like I really love anything that includes creativity!
4. What did you want to be when you were little?
I don’t actually remember having one specific thing I wanted to be as a kid when I grew up, and I actually still don’t know what I want to be! I’m just going to trust that God will guide my footsteps and whatever he has destined for me to be then i’ll be! (I remember playing “chef” alot with my siblings as a kid tho so maybe I could’ve wanted to be that 😂)
5. Favorite quote?
The sunrise, of course, doesn’t care if we watch it or not. It will keep on being beautiful, even if no one bothers to look at it.

1. Summer or winter?
Definitely Summer, I can’t STAND winter sometimes! I mean I absolutely love snow, and Christams, and hot chocolate, and sledding I really do! But I also love the warm sunshine, the beach, flip flops, ice cream, bike rides and NOT literally freezing my butt off.
2. Can you do a backflip? (Ground or trampoline)
I can on the trampoline! And I used to be able to do it on the ground but I haven’t done it in forever so i’d be scared to find out if I still can.
3. Do you like dolls?
Yes I do! I have a couple of American girl dolls stored away with lots of other doll things, I haven’t actually gotten them out in awhile but yes I do like them! I was literally obsessed with them when I was younger haha.
4. If you could choose one board game or card game, what would it be?
Either Clue, or Scattergories. Those are my all time favorite games to play!
5. Have you ever gone fishing before?
I have! Quite a few times, I have unfortunately never caught a fish before and I have zero patience for fishing most of the time. It’s a very peaceful and quiet activity to me though, and I like that about it!

Started trying to look at things more positively and seeking joy in everything!

I don’t actually get a full Summer break the way my schoolwork works, but I do enjoy Summer very much!

I do try to workout occasionally! I follow Chloe Tings workout schedules which I love so very much! I am currently doing her 2020 Summer shred along with my friend Allie, which lemme tell ya the workout is amazing but it’s INTENSE.
5. What’s something you are super enthusiastic about?
Dreaming big, living wild, free, and being the best person you can be!
6. What’s your go-to for cravings?
I normally crave lot’s of fruit most of the time, it’s either super sweet or super salty there’s no in between!
7. What are some of your goals for this Summer?
Being more positive in every situation and seeking joy in all things! Praying and growing a bigger and closer relationship with God, and self care!
8. Do you have plants? If so, what types?
I currently have a lamb ears plant that I love so much! And I also have a packet of mammoth sunflower seeds that I am going to plant here soon!!
9. Do you enjoy traveling? Where are some of the places you’ve been?
I love traveling so much! I dream of traveling the world one day. I haven’t actually been out of the country but Florida, and Tennessee are 2 of my favorite places I’ve been so far!
10. Any beauty tips for us ladies?
All I can tell you girls, is to go as natural as possible. Whether it’s hair products, or cosmetics, I would rather take care of and have a beautiful body without having to use cosmetics with terrible and damaging things to your body in them! What’s the point in making it look like you take care of your body when your putting bad things in it and really not taking care of it like we should? I don’t want to just be beautiful, I want to be healthy and beautiful.
11. What is something you are thankful for today?
The sunshine, my health, being able to talk to Jesus, and knowing that God loves, cares, provides, and understands. 😊

Dude. I literally LOVE all 3 of those combos. (Another one of my fave weird food combos is scrambled eggs and strawberry jam! It’s literally so good!)

Not at the moment, no. But let me know again if you have any sports recommendations because I am looking to try a new one!
9. Do you pen-pal or bullet journal?
I do both! (Bullet journaling seems so hard for me to keep up with for some reason)

Well guys I hope you enjoyed this post! We are FINALLY at the end and this took about 3 hours guys so I am so pooped but it was so worth it and it was so much fun to do! *gets cut off by a horid dog fart* (dude did you just crap yourself?! Hey ya’ll! I hope you’re doing well. I am literally soooo happy about this post haha! You already seen in the title, so yes! We are getting chickens! xD *yaaaaayy!* We have actually wanted to get some sort of farm animals of our own for awhile now (not to mention my Mom actually dreams of living on a farm) and we have decided to get some chicks! We will have our own fresh eggs, and chickens are also super cute so they also count as cuddly floof-ball pets.
I am trying to convince my Mom to let me name one of them and call it as my own, and i’ve been working on coming up with a list of some really cute names I like haha! So, I will list all of the names i’ve gotten together below then you can use the poll below it to vote on what you think I should name my chicken! You can pick up to 3 of your favorite name ideas listed! Here are my favorite names that I have narrowed down to!
Sunshine
I feel like this would be one of my favorite names out of them all, it’s just a really cute name! I was also sort of thinking “Sunshine” could be the name of the chicken mascot for “Sunshine & Rain” haha, ya’know? Just to represent Lol. I just really love sunshine so much, so I think it could be a great name!
2. Nugget
Alright, well please don’t get mad at me for this but I think Nugget would be a funny and cute name for a chicken, Haha! *laughs uneasily* I don’t really have a full explanation for it, but I think it’d also make a cute, funny name! Just let me know what you think!
3. Arizona
Another name I love, Arizona. There’s just something so pretty about it so I think this would also been one of my favorites!
4. Lemon
This is for some reason such an adorable name to me! Lemon the Chicken haha! Doesn’t it sound so cute?
5. Mylo
This name sounds super unique, and really cute! Mylo would also seem to suit a chicken very well. Definitely one of my faves!
6. Mitzi
I just love this name so much, again it just seems like it’d suit a Chicken so well! I think that it is pure adorable.
7. Potato (Tater)
I think that Potato, aka Tater would make an absolutely adorable name haha! It’s just so cute and I think it’s hilarious! 😂
